June 6 - Fabric 25% off Happy New Year from the gang at Sewing With Class!Another year has come…and gone. Once again it is time to say Happy New Year….and we hope you have had a very Merry Christmas! We are glad to have been a part of your busy lives….to have shared a few laughs, and helped you out with questions and advice on your quilts. So many of our customers have become friends, sharing stories about family and how their quilts will be gifted or used at home! Little stories about corners that didn’t match until the 5th try, or how everything just went great and then you realize the thread ran out ½ mile ago. Or how about that really great specialty thread that you just love, but you have to re-thread every few minutes because it keeps acting up? You just have to keep it up because it looks so great, and then when frustration really sets in you can’t quit because you are over half ways done! Or finally finishing…..whew what a relief! OOPS that one block is sewn in upside down. We can laugh about it….after the fact. We have all been there at one time or another. It’s good to know we are all part of this elite group.
The Pillowcase Dress classes were very successful. We have sent away 82 dresses and have collected a donation of $250.00.Thanks so much to all who participated! Can’t you just imagine all those little girls in those bright colored dresses! Here is a big thank-you to all who donated “undies” to go along with the dresses. That was a great idea!
